In 1973 Henning Hansen, the founder of Seagull, was the first to invent a 3-layer Nomex Fire Suit, which later formed the foundation for the very first EN-469 Standard. Henning Hansen has represented Denmark in EN-TC 162 WG2, the working group for the EN-469 Standard for Fire Suits, for many years.
